Welcome to the Mechanics
There’s a story
behind the door.
On Middle Street, in the heart of Galway, the Mechanics has brought people together across generations.
Its roots lie in education and opportunity for the city’s tradespeople. Over time, books and evening classes were joined by billiards, dances and the social life of a members’ club.
